Checkered flag: Jimmie Johnson wins the Sylvania 300!

Lap 299: White flag. Jimmie Johnson still leads.

Lap 298: Jeff Gordon off the pace, out of fuel.

Lap 293: Robby Gordon runs out of fuel and heads to pit road. Jimmie Johnson takes the lead.

Lap 289: Matt Kenseth pits. Robby Gordon takes the lead. Sterling Marlin gets penalty for pitting out of his box.

Lap 286: Kevin Harvick runs out gas and pits, giving lead to Matt Kenseth.

Lap 277: Kevin Harvick is the leader, but is probably short on fuel.

Lap 268: Several drivers begin coming in for final pit stops. Terry Labonte out of gas on pit road. Michael Waltrip leaves his pit stall with gas can still attached. Stop-and-go penalty for Waltrip. Mike Skinner gets penalty for speeding on pit road.

Lap 255: Michael Waltrip takes the lead from Ricky Rudd.

Lap 183: Caution for Hermie Sadler -- car up in smoke. Sadler heads to the garage. Leaders head for the pits.

Lap 172: Green flag, restart. Bill Elliott leads.

Lap 161: Yellow flag -- Dale Jarrett and Jimmy Spencer make contact. Jarrett spins and crashes hard, but emerges from the car.

Lap 160: Restart. Bill Elliott still leads.

Lap 155: Robby Gordon spins in Turn 2 and brings out a caution.

Lap 152: Green flag, restart.

Lap 150: Dale Earnhardt Jr., running fifth, reports a problem, perhaps with his engine.

Lap 148: Several drivers, including Ward Burton and Jimmie Johnson, head to pit road.

Lap 147: Caution 2 -- Jimmie Johnson gets into Ward Burton, sending Burton into the wall.

Lap 139: Green flag, restart.

Lap 128: Bill Elliott is the race leader after pit stops.

Lap 128: Jeff Gordon and Michael Waltrip wreck on pit road during yellow-flag pit stops. They hit a few members of Jimmie Johnson's pit crew.

Lap 127: Caution out for debris on the backstretch.

Lap 113: Greg Biffle heads to the garage with a mechanical problem -- debris hits oil pump belt.

Lap 104: Jeff Burton, running fifth, has a problem -- car is smoking. He heads to the garage.

Lap 92: Dale Earnhardt Jr. emerges as the race leader after all pit stops are complete

Lap 87: Greg Biffle out of fuel on pit road, loses a few seconds trying to restart the engine.

Lap 86: Dale Earnhardt Jr. has a bad pit entry and a poor stop.

Lap 80: First round of green-flag pit stops begins.

Lap 76: Ricky Craven runs out of fuel but makes it to pit road. Craven gets a drive by penalty for speeding on pit road, loses four laps in the whole process.

Lap 46: Dale Earnhardt Jr. takes the lead from Ryan Newman. Michael Waltrip, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson round out the top five.
